Friends, remember, stopping Obama’s “spendingcare” (healthcare) legislation is not going to be an easy fight. This is a high priority item with Congress under Dems’ control, but it can be done. Many are working with Senator Mitch McConnell to win this struggle. Bear with us folks, for the first move is to drag this past the summer break in Congress. Obama wants it done basically before then.
The total numbers do not make sense. They are so construed that even the CBO can’t make sense of the dollars. In a private conference call yesterday his healthcare bill will cost in estimated excess of 8 trillion dollars over the next 4 years. As a nation we don’t have the money. This means that every citizen will pay more in taxes and pay more in taxes added to all, ALL, goods sold to pay for his plan.
In the next 90 days, if the Dems’ have their way and/or Obama signs another ‘exec order’, expect beer, wine, and spirits cost to rise 35% to 50% from Federal taxes. These funds will be used for his healthcare plan. And there will be more. Where do you think the Cap & Trade funds are going? Also, watch for the elimination of healthcare deductions from income taxes if you choose to keep your private or employer based healthcare plan. And, most employers will have you paying 100% of the monthly charge out of your paycheck because they won’t be able to afford it over the long haul.
Corporate taxes will rise and they will lose their deductions limiting their ability to fund R&D. Taxes on autos, groceries, and durable goods is going to sky rocket in the next 6 to 12 months to pay for this if the bill is passed. That means, according to the CBO, every American will pay 60 to 65 cents from every dollar earned to pay for health care by 2012.
Friends this is staggering and freightening to say the least. But the OCA will continue to work with legislators in both the Senate & the House to defeat this financially ruinous healthcare bill! This I personally guarantee!
