Warriors Tribute . . .

Our men and women in uniform deserve far more credit for their extraordinary victory in Iraq. They faced the foreign enemy on the field of battle and defeated their opponent with more courage, better training, suberb tactics and superior fire power but, seriously, that is often the easy part.

The harder battle is at home on three fronts: First, the media who cheers for the enemy, belittles our Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, and mocks their leadership. Second, academia which questions the motives, doubts the objectives, and dismisses our sons and daughters as motivated by misguided patriotism and ideology. Third, the entertainment industry that ridicules, distorts, and undermines the effort at home to support our troops.

The results are such that many of our men come home confused and uncertain if they did the right thing..

This should not be.

We might add to the Tea Parties a crystal clear message of appreciation and support for the troops. –Peter E Waldron
